GROUP LEVEL: 7TH GRADE
GENERAL OBJECTIVE (S): This class intend to make students understand they are equal and should respect each other´s differences.
Previous language knowledge necessary: Simple Present, feeling vocabulary.
Possible difficulties and ways to deal with them: the teacher must be clear the purpose of the warm up activity and divide the groups avoiding the behavior.
Step: the students stand and divide them into two groups. They are supposed to be in two straight lines, one in front of the other, with some space between them. After that, teacher should ask them some questions (in portuguese) related to bullying. If one of the questions apply to their reality (and it is expected that), they are going to take one step forward. In the end, they will be closer.
Learner objectives: To make students understand from critical perspective the problems that Bullying cam brings in their life. To infer a new vocabulary.
Language: Simple Present Bullying vocabulary
Teacher procedures: The teacher ask students questions ( in portuguese) and he/she are writing in English on the board the student´s answered .
Material: Blackboard, Chalk and pen-drive T, pictures printed in small pieces.
Monitoring: The teacher will asked students to write what they felt when they “suppose” suffer bullying/ what felt a person who suffer bullying?And what they think about this action ?
Time: One hour
